  • Only class credits will be given for schedule changes. No cash refunds will be issued.

    —--If you booked using a discounted class pack and cancel: class credit will automatically go back to the package.

    —— If you booked by purchasing a single class and cancel: please email Katherine so she can manually give you a class credit that can be used for a different date.

    There will be no class credits given for reschedules/cancelations less than 48 hours before class.

    You are welcome to gift your class to a friend if you cannot make it.

    You can manage your classes through your account or through email receipts.

  • To log Into an existing account: On the registration page, you will find "Login" above the calendar.

    At the end of the booking process, you will be given the option to create an account.

    On the confirmation page, click “Register for an account”. Accounts allow you to reschedule, cancel and keep track of your classes.

  • Most likely! Aqua Yoga can be very gentle on the joints and that makes it an excellent practice for folks with injuries. Just being in the water reduces inflammation and lifts weight off your joints.

    However, if your injury is severe and prevents you from being able to get in or out of the pool on your own or walk in the water unassisted. A public class would not be a good fit.

  • Due to the limited spaces in the pool, all students must register through the website and pay.

    The benefits of pre-registering not only ensure your spot is reserved but also allow you to receive email reminders and options to change your reservation (up to 48 before class starts) should your schedule change.

  • No. You will not be asked to go underwater and getting your hair wet is optional.

  • No. These Aqua Yoga classes are practiced in chest-depth water. There may be opportunities to lift your feet off the floor and float, if that doesn’t make you comfortable alternatives will be offered.

  • Yes! The water literally lifts the weight of the world off you. And can be such a relief, especially in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters!

  • Yes! Aqua Yoga is a great way to start a yoga practice because it can be gentle and the kinesthetic feedback you get from the water is great for increasing body awareness.

  • The indoor pool at Waterloo Swimming is chlorinated, and 89 degrees.

  • Yes. Katherine is available for privates at Waterloo Swimming.

    If you would like a session at your private pool, that is an option too.

  • Yes. Please send Katherine an email and let her know the date and time of the class that you want to get into. If someone cancels she will let you know.
